Clocking in/out with Fingerprint

This article describes how you, as an administrator, connect your employees to clock in and out on a Fingerprint terminal.

You register two fingers to each employee which they will use to register their time in the Fingerprint terminal. 

Start by connecting the employee to the correct Terminal Profile. You do this through Staff - the employee - Supplementary information. Choose "Fingerprint" in the menu for Terminal Profiles:

Now you have to add "Identification method" by clicking Add just under the "Time recorder profile" box. Then choose which finger the employee should use for clocking in/out. Then press OK. Don't forget to Save in the upper left corner when you're done.

In order for the employee to be able to clock in and out on the fingerprint terminal, the box for the correct terminal under Permitted time recorders must be checked.

Now the employee is ready to scan their finger in the terminal. Enter the employee number. You will now receive a message on the terminal to scan the same finger 4 times. Press OK and scan the finger by placing it on the reader 4 times. A countdown will appear on the display.
Make sure the entire finger covers the surface and that the finger is straight. You should apply a relatively firm pressure when verifying the finger during clocking in/out. Now the employee number is connected to the fingerprint. The employee doesn't neeed to enter the employee number anymore, only the fingerprint will be demanded when the employee clocks in and out. 

If you wish to remove or change the fingerprint to another one, you must first delete the currently registered one, this is done under the Supplementary information tab. click on the red cross next to the small curved arrow under Identification Method to remove the fingerprint registration.
