Release notes 2026-10-12
In this update, the focus has been on calendar sync in the app and the new account rules, with fixes to the time clock and shift swaps.
Improvements
- Calendar link in the app – employees can now subscribe to their shifts in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and other calendars that support ics
- Account rules are now available under Agreements → Rules → Account rules. An account rule decides which account time is posted to based on shift type, and an account rule can be selected as the account on inconvenient hours rules
- "Show usage" on departments now lists every place the department is used, so it is clear what needs to be removed before it can be deleted
- Shift swaps between employees now validate actual shift times – a swap is only blocked when the shifts overlap, not as soon as there is a shift on the same day
- The Show day dialog in the approvals list now works better on smaller screens
Fixes
- Fixed crash in the time clock on older terminals
- Fixed that the time clock showed DeviceServer as offline even though the service was running
- Fixed that it was not possible to clock out in the app for shifts over midnight when an absence code existed the following day
- Fixed that absence on shifts with extended or no planned time was included in the time bank calculation
- Fixed that the settings dialog in the Weekly overview lacked a scrollbar on small screens
Other
- Simplified data model for departments to reduce the risk of errors
- Tightened permission checks in several API calls
- Internal improvements to the build and operations environment
